I am currently studying for an MA in Photography at Falmouth University.
Most of my photography is documentary, with an interest in rural affairs and the environment.
An important part of taking this degree course is learning how to move beyond individual images into projects and stories.
My current project is on the Oxfordshire Rising of 1596 – a protest against rural deprivation and enclosures – and the parallels that exist in land ownership and social inequality today.
For most of 2020 I photographed the city of Oxford after dark, somewhere that became a strange, eerie, deserted urban space as the pandemic took hold.
I am a photographer, but I am also a husband, brother and lover of cakes, long walks and adventures.
I live in Oxfordshire.
